Video: Family and celebrations Reflection: This week we learned about how to talk about our families, and about vocab words for celebrations and parties. I feel like I really understand the family vocab, but struggle with remembering some of the vocab for celebrations. Working on this week's artifact helped me learn the vocab more. Only 1 more artifact to go!

Video: Mantener la salud Reflection: This week in Spanish we learned about foods and staying healthy. We learned about the five food groups and about how to talk about health in Spanish. I know most of the words, but there are still some that I struggle with remembering the meanings to. Overall, I feel like I understand the basic concept.

Video: Los pasatiempos Reflection: I feel alright about the things we learned this past week. I feel like I understand the concepts/words that we learned, but can’t remember some of the words off of the top of my head. I feel like learning about places in spanish will help me expand my vocabulary and be able to use more words in conversations. Learning these words was easy for me, but I feel I could use a little more practice memorizing the words.

Video: Gustar and Encantar Reflection: This week we learned about the verbs encantar and gustar. I feel really confident about these verbs and I know how to use them. The concept was very easy for me to learn and easily pick up and start using. I feel ready to learn what comes next.

Video: Reflection: This week we reviewed ar verbs and Spanish subject pronouns. I remembered about subject pronouns and the golden rule, and I was able to pick it up easily. I was kind of worried that it would be hard, but it was actually really easy to remember. I feel really confident about this.

Video: Reflection: This week was a review of Spanish concepts that I had learned from Spanish 1. Because I hadn’t been using my Spanish over the summer, I was worried that it might be hard for me to remember things. I was able to easily remember how to have introductory conversations as well as pastimes. On Friday, I was able to videotape a conversation I had in Spanish with Bradley. I felt really confident about this and I feel like it will be even easier to remember everything else.
